Interesting, exciting and intense! In 48 hours, students made an application for SAVA Insurance

After the successful first hackathon for our partner company SAVA Insurance, where we were looking for the best creative solution for a web application for user profiles, this weekend students from Brainster's technical academies and the Software Engineering and Innovation study program at Brainster Next College took matters into their own hands. Their task was to technically develop the winning solution from the first hackathon and bring the application to life.

After the registration of the participants, the hackathon was officially opened by Vera Vardziska, representative of SAVA Insurance , and Jovana Jovanovska from the "Partnerships" team.

Jovana Jovanovska congratulated the participants for registering and coming in the midst of summer. She reminded the students that this is a great opportunity for them because the platform they are working on will be deployed at the level of the entire SAVA Insurance group.

The participants, divided into eight groups, worked dynamically within the given deadline to achieve maximum results. The atmosphere of cooperation reigned in the premises, and although the work was hard and intensive, this was a great opportunity for students from the different academies and from Brainster Next College to get to know each other. Each of the students at the faculty acquired new technical and soft skills, and those who had no work experience before, learned what it was like to work in a real work environment under deadline pressure.
