KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator, and is an indicator used to measure the status of the intermediate process toward achieving the final goal
. In contrast to KPI, which is an intermediate indicator, the goal indicator is called KGI (Key Goal Indicator).
KPIs are created by considering the processes necessary to achieve the final hospital mailing leads goal and clearly indicating in numerical terms the state at which each process should be completed.
For each final goal, set intermediate KPIs. By checking the degree of achievement of each intermediate goal, you can understand what is lacking and use it to make improvements.
For example, consider the case of running an e-commerce site. The final goal of the site is to increase sales.
In this case, the KGI (indicator to be pursued as the final goal) is sales.
