An enterprise producing spare parts for agricultural machinery has become a participant in the Industrial Route project. Our film crew found out what technologies allow Tambov production to import-substitute foreign parts without losing quality.

“We are 2 times cheaper than imported analogues. And for this particular item, we are 4 times more in terms of warranty.”

Foreign companies provide a 1-year warranty on equipment and six months employment database on parts, while the Tambov manufacturer provides customers with at least a 2-year warranty on any item in the range. Thanks to such a responsible approach, the Tambov plant has established itself on the market not only in Russia, but also in neighboring countries. Since 2010, they have been reengineering parts of imported agricultural machinery, that is, reproducing them in their original form and quality.

Artem Grishunenkov, Commercial Director of the Agro Eco Group of Companies: “Imported equipment that is developed abroad is developed by huge teams of engineers, sometimes not even within one company, but in several. These are engineering centers that have the appropriate laboratory equipment and the appropriate modeling systems. We have a relatively small team of designers – about 10 people. Nevertheless, 3D modeling is also available to us, and catching up, as they say, is easier than running away. We have acquired our own laboratory. We have spectrometers and hardness testers, we have the equipment that we need to understand how it is made there.”
