iPad Air 5th generation on M1

Post by bitheerani319 »

Contrary to expectations, the new 5th-generation Air tablet was not equipped with the A15 Bionic chip from the top-end iPhones, but instead switched to the super-powerful Apple M1 processor, which is used in basic laptops and the latest-generation iPad Pro.

The device's performance has doubled compared to its predecessor. The hardware makes the iPad Air faster than most Windows laptops sold today.

The tablet's front camera has been bosnia and herzegovina mobile database upgraded. Now it's a 12-megapixel sensor with support for the Center Stage feature.

The Type-C port for connecting peripherals has become 2 times faster and supports data transfer at speeds of up to 10 Gbps.

The tablet will be available in five color options: black, white, gold, purple and sea green.

Models with storage capacity from 64 to 256 GB will be available.

New M1 Ultra Processor: Apple's Top-of-the-Line Chip
Before the new Mac computers were unveiled, Tim Cook and company decided to talk about Apple's new high-performance processor. It was not the new M2, but the most powerful in the first-generation ARM chip lineup – the Apple M1 Ultra.

It is made using a 5-nanometer process technology and consists of 114 billion transistors. This is 7 times more than in the most basic M1 chip. In fact, the new processor is a dual M1 Max chip.

The M1 Ultra has 20 CPU cores and 64 GPU cores. It supports up to 128GB of shared memory.
