Expert opinion Olga Kovalenko I have been engaged in interior design and architectural design since 2010. In a narrow bedroom, a combination of cold and warm shades will help to visually expand the space. To do this, a room with a high ceiling should be done in cool tones, and a narrow one in warm ones.
Furniture
The classic option for combining furniture and wall colors is stockholder data to be contrast. With its help, it is easy to emphasize certain interior elements. Light walls perfectly set off a dark furniture ensemble. And a dull pale set will look great against a background of bright colors.
In principle, there are 2 solutions. If the purchase of a wardrobe and a bed is only planned, then the selection of furniture and wall color are combined. When a set replacement is not expected, the new shade of the room is adapted to the existing environment.
The most modern trend in bedroom design today is the use of identical tones.
Lighting
Most people are in the bedroom in the evening, so they use mostly artificial light.
In modern apartments, LED, fluorescent or incandescent lamps burn. They come in warm or cold spectrum.
If the first version of lighting fixtures is installed in the bedroom, then all the main colors are visually perceived as paler. Greenish shades appear in blue, scarlet will become salmon, and yellow will be even lighter.
The cold spectrum refreshes the palette and saturates violet, red, blue, indigo and other dense tones with deeper shades. Yellow color, under such lighting, will look faded.
