The creation of journalistic information invites us to think of new formats, and to devote aesthetics, beauty as a necessity to touch and inform. Because there is much to fear that pure and rational information will no longer suffice, and that beautiful (sensitive) or co-produced (interactive) information will be the new norms of the metaverse, and go beyond the question of observed truth. These trends for journalism put into perspective the current debates on the creation of fake news , deepfake and other synthetic media towards a debate on the very conditions of survival of reality and truth.
