In Italy, 89% of project managers responding to the Impactful Project Management tools 2024 study conducted by Capterra agree with the statement: “My company's management recognizes the importance of IE in project management”.

In the first part of the study, Capterra highlights how high levels of emotional intelligence can influence project teams and improve the achievement of results. To do so, 2,500 project managers were finland number data globally, including 200 in Italy.*

89% of project managers say that the use of emotional intelligence at work has increased in the last two years: Italy is among the countries where the use of EI at work has increased the most, together with Brazil and India.
High levels of emotional intelligence improve the achievement of results: more than half of project managers (55%) surveyed said that EI had a “significant impact” on the achievement of team results.
For 52% of project managers, problem solving is one of the responsibilities most positively influenced by emotional intelligence, followed by team management for 48%, and decision-making for 43%.
