The technological innovations of 2023 have allowed the rise of certain types of attacks, including quishing! Have you ever seen QR codes randomly placed on the street or on windshields/mailboxes? And if you find one on your door with a "notice of passage" message, will you scan it? An attacker may be trying to hack you via quishing! This is a form of phishing using QR codes ; the idea is to manipulate the victim to retrieve information and/or make them download malicious files. Although this threat does not constitute the majority of cyberattacks, it is nonetheless real .


We advise you to be wary of QRcodes that can be placed randomly in the street.
