Google provides 5 ways to verify website ownership

The following will teach you the simplest way to install and verify the website.

1. First, you must have a Google account. Then, go to Google Search Console and click "Start Now".

2. You will see a Google login screen. Please fill in your email address and password and click "Next" as instructed.

3. Next, you should see the following Google Search Console welcome screen.

If your email account has other management permissions, just click "☰" in the main menu on the left, then click "+ Add Resource" and you will also see the following screen.

4. At this point, you need to select the resource type before you can start the verification operation.

There are two options on the left and right sides of the screen. The left side is for domain verification, and the right side is for verifying a single URL. If you do not have access to the domain or do not have an engineer around you, the simpler approach is to directly verify with a single URL (as shown in the red box below).

Note: If you have established an online teaching platform through Teachify, please copy and paste your school homepage URL directly into this field.

5. After a few seconds of checking time, the following "Verify Ownership" screen will pop up.

Click on the red box "^" in the upper right corner of the oman phone number list , and you should be able to see all the verification methods.

HTML file: Upload the HTML file to your website
HTML tags: Add a meta tag to your website homepage
Google Analytics: Use your Google Analytics account
Google Tag Manager: Use your Google Tag Manager account
Domain Name Providers: Associate your DNS records with Google

6. Click "HTML Tag" and the following screen will appear.

According to the prompts, please copy the meta tag below, paste it into <head> the section on the homepage of the website, and then click Verify .

The complete meta tag would be:
<meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” />

(That xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is actually a very long piece of gibberish.)

If you are a Teachify user
Please go to Teachify Admin / Academy Settings / Third-Party Data Tracking, paste the "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" in the meta tag into the "Google Search Console HTML" tag verification field, and click "Update".

Next, go back to Google Search Console and click “Verify” in the lower right corner of the screen.

Wait for it to run for a while.

If successful, the "Ownership Verified" screen will appear. (Isn’t it easy!)
