The length of the pole is calculated taking into account the height of the fence and the part that will be in the ground. For heaving soils, it is recommended to pass the freezing depth. In other soils, the ratio of the height of the above-ground part and the part reinforced in the ground is calculated as 2 to 1. For example, the height of the fence is 2000 mm, which means that immersion in the ground will be required by 1000 mm, and the total length of the pole will be 3000 mm.
To install supports for gates, it is recommended to use more powerful posts with a cross-section of 60x60 and a wall thickness of 3 mm.
In areas with weak soils, it is recommended to build fences from corrugated sheets on piles.
To prepare the base for the pillars, use the following step-by-step instructions:
dig holes for the supports. You can dig with a regular bayonet shovel or a drill (manual or electric). The depth of the hole for the support should be at least 1000 mm (taking into account poland mobile database sand or gravel to the bottom in a layer of 100-200 mm). The width of the yak should exceed the diameter of the post by a third;
Sand or small gravel is poured into the bottom of the hole. The cushion is carefully compacted.
The base for installing the support is ready.
Installation of poles
After preparing the hole for the support, we begin installing the pillars:
the part of the pole intended for immersion in the ground is cleaned of rust, degreased, treated with a metal primer and painted with bitumen mastic. Installation begins after the protective layer has dried;
the pole is lowered into the hole;
check the height of the above-ground part of the pole. If necessary, adjust the height by removing excess sand or adding sand to the hole;
using supports, the pole is installed strictly vertically. This work requires two people: one adjusts the position of the pole, and the second corrects the actions of the first, determining the position of the pole using a plumb line;
