Don't forget to prepare the raw materials correctly

Post by zihadhosenjm40 »

We do not recommend storing raw materials for weaving in advance. If you decide to prepare branches in the fall and start work on making the gazebo in the spring, dry twigs can be revived. It is enough to hold them in hot water for some time. Willow branches, which have a special tenacity, can simply be placed in a bucket of water.
The best time to collect material is the second half of August.
The branches should be as long as possible, no more than 2–3 cm thick.
Remove leaves and bark from the twigs; if desired, you can remove them with a pincer (read below).
To make your work unique, use branches of hungary mobile database tree species. The play of different colors of the weaving stripes will help create an unusual pattern. To connect the vines together, you can use a more aesthetic material instead of wire, for example, canvas twine or bark scraps.

Site preparation
There are no specific conditions or requirements for the location of such a recreation area. It can be located anywhere on the garden plot.

The selected site must be carefully prepared:

mow the grass;
remove stones from the area;
level the soil with a shovel;
using pegs and rope, mark the perimeter of the future foundation according to the drawing;
dig holes around the perimeter about a meter deep, insert support posts (logs or metal pipes) at a distance of about 40–50 cm, fill them with gravel and cement them;
At the entrance to the gazebo, install two rows of posts on both sides (for rigidity and to secure the ends of the vines) at a distance of 15–20 cm.

Further actions depend on what floor covering you prefer as the base of the gazebo. The following options are possible:
