Nvidia: "affordable" GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card for $329 and RTX 30 line for gaming laptops
At the presentation, the company introduced the Geforce RTX 3060 graphics card with 12GB of GDDR6 memory. Nvidia claims that it is twice as powerful and works ten times faster with ray tracing (RT) than the GTX 1060.
It runs at 60 frames per second with ray tracing and DLSS supersampling technology , for example, in Cyberpunk 2077 or Watch Dogs: Legion.
Nvidia also introduced the GeForce RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RTX 3080 mobile graphics cards, which support DLSS, hardware ray tracing, and other technologies of the RTX 30 desktop cards:
The RTX 3060 video card is designed for gaming at 90 frames per second at 1080p resolution on "ultra" settings.
RTX 3070 — 90 frames per second at 1440p resolution at the same settings.
RTX 3080 - over 100 frames per second at 1080p resolution at the same settings.
The first GeForce RTX 30-based laptops will appear after January 26, 2021. First, laptops with RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 will go on sale, then with RTX 3060.
In total, more than 70 laptops with GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards will be released, with announced partners including Acer, Alienware, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.
Smart glasses with MicroLED display
