Antonio Espinosa de los Monteros is 26 years old and is the co-founder of Auara, a bottled water brand that allocates 100% of the profits generated from its sales to developing projects for access to drinking water in developing countries. The project was born with a clear and proactive social vocation that invites everyone who consumes it to turn an everyday act like rcs data nigeria water into an extraordinary act. Antonio believes that starting a business in Spain is hard, but he assures that “the good news is that, when you start something that fulfills you so much, the effort is always worth it.”

How did the idea of creating Auara come about ?
We embarked on this adventure after having had experience in cooperation projects. We have been lucky enough to work on different projects and in different places (Peru, Cambodia, Ethiopia...) where we have experienced first-hand what it means to live without drinking water and how this affects the poorest communities in every way, people who live in extreme poverty. After experiencing this reality first-hand, we decided that we had to do something to change it.

What does your activity consist of?
Auara is a social enterprise dedicated to bringing drinking water to people who do not have it in developing countries. We finance these projects for access to drinking water through the sale of a brand of mineral water. The idea is that the consumer, by drinking Auara, helps others to have water. In addition, we are the first water brand in Europe to manufacture its bottles with 100% recycled material.
