Information regarding application for the ICT Services Voucher Scheme 2020

We are pleased to announce that SEOMAX Digital Agency is among the approved ICT service providers under the Project “ Voucher Scheme for Provision of Information and Communication Technology Services (ICT Services) to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) ” under the Operational Programme “Innovation and Competitiveness”. In connection with the great interest and the approaching application deadlines for small and medium-sized enterprises, in this article we have summarized important information to help applicants.

What is the Voucher Scheme?
The voucher scheme for the provision of ICT services is a pilot project rcs data netherlands the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ESME). The aim of this project is to ensure higher competitiveness and sustainability of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria, which will be achieved through their digitalization and the implementation of ICT business models. Who is eligible to benefit from the Voucher Scheme?
Eligible for the scheme are candidates who meet the following criteria:
be legal entities or sole proprietors registered under the Commercial Act;
be a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise within the meaning of Art. 3 and Art. 4 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Act;
to develop their main economic activity in one of the groups of activities defined in the National Strategy for the Promotion of SMEs 2014-2020 as high-tech, medium-high-tech, low-tech and medium-low-tech industrial production or knowledge-intensive services, as listed below.
Companies that are interested can check if they are included in the Register of Small and Medium-sized Businesses that meet the conditions for application here .

Types of vouchers
For this purpose, a grant of a total amount of BGN 9,775,672.98 has been allocated under the project. According to the estimated data of BSMEPA, over 450 small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to benefit from grant financing in the form of vouchers. The vouchers that will be provided are of two types:

vouchers type 1 – vouchers for web-based ICT services – platforms, websites and/or mobile applications with a fixed nominal value of BGN 5,000 excluding VAT for service users (SME-recipient of the aid) who are registered under the VAT Act and BGN 6,000 including VAT for service users (SME-recipient of the aid) who are not registered under the VAT Act;
vouchers type 2 – vouchers for ICT services for digital marketing, process optimization and/or ensuring cyber and information security with a fixed nominal value of BGN 20,000 excluding VAT for service users (SME-recipient of the aid) who are registered under the VAT Act and BGN 24,000 including VAT for service users (SME-recipient of the aid) who are not registered under the VAT Act:
– group 1 – ICT services for digital marketing;

Services based on VR technologies, reflecting the company's activities and uploading to the Internet, including augmented reality (if applicable);
Software development and implementation of VR technologies in the manufacturing sector;
Issuing unique identification numbers for the company's products with worldwide recognition (the numbers should be recognized by all trading partners and chains, and ensure seamless listing of goods and trading in them in retail outlets and electronic platforms);
Providing access to an electronic platform for entering product information, which is subsequently synchronized with an electronic platform for product information. In the case of a fixed term of use and/or subscription, specifically for this ICT service, they must not be longer than the deadline for the implementation of the project proposal through which the applicant company applies to the voucher scheme. After this deadline, the costs for the fixed term of use and/or subscription will not be covered by the voucher.
