Do you know how you become the first winner of the UltiMATH competition, which from now on will be the place where the best high school mathematicians will compete every fall and fight for the prestigious recognition?

So that you pass the qualifications with an excellent result. You will start the final weekend with 350 high school students from all over Macedonia, you will spend the first two rounds on Saturday solving 25 tasks twice and you will make it to the super final on Sunday. And then when the complex problems with 5 tasks come that require skill and proof, you show all your quality. First you enter the Top 10, and then after only two hours out of the scheduled three you pass the test with correctly solved tasks and get an extra hour while waiting for the final results.

This recipe for success was written last weekend by the first winner of the rcs data qatar competition for high school students, Damjan Davkov , who had another incredible competition. To his collection of trophies, which includes the gold medal from the last Olympics in London, he has now added the title "UltiMATH Mathematics High School Champion of Macedonia". He is the first winner of 10,000 euros and a full scholarship for the Brainster Next faculty .


And the weekend started off amazingly. Punctual as a problem solved to the last decimal, the competitors began arriving almost at the same moment when the doors of East Gate Mall opened for the participants of the first UltiMATH. All of Macedonia in one place. The large hall, which at 8:30 a.m. had 350 empty tables and chairs, suddenly began to fill up. In a short time, one third was already filled and the beauty of such an event, where there was a place for the best, began to be felt.
