Do you break out in a cold sweat just thinking about reported speech? Don't worry! Reported speech in English often gives Spanish-speaking students problems, but mastering it is easier than it seems. Today we are going to review the keys to reported speech with some simple exercises to practice.

Reported speech seems very complicated, but converting a uae phone number list from direct to indirect speech only requires three steps:

Identify the verbs and change them to a past tense . If this is still a bit confusing, review using the articles at the end of this section.
Identify modal verbs and change them into their past form . Not all modal verbs have a past form and sometimes you will have to replace them with another verb.
Identify the time expressions and, again, change them to a past form.
