A farmer from the Petrovsky municipal district received a grant of three million rubles to develop his own business. We are talking about a quail farm, which is already striving to feed the entire region with environmentally friendly products.
Cleaning at seven in the morning, breakfast at nine. Mukhitdin Bobokulov understands well what it means to live strictly on a schedule. For almost ten years, the current owner of a quail farm worked as a bus driver in Moscow. A year ago, he swapped the rhythm of the capital for the everyday life of a rural entrepreneur.
Mukhitdin Bobokulov, individual entrepreneur: “Moscow is not for my age. There is a lot of fuss, traffic jams. We used to live on the land, we had our own house. When we were kids, my father really loved birds, he kept cryptocurrency database quails and partridges at home, and that’s probably when we got the love. My brother also started keeping quails when he came here. Then he said, “Come on, brother, come to us, let’s get started,” and so I adopted it.”
The new life of Mukhitdin and his wife Zarifa began with 6 thousand quails, a gift from his brother. They were the first residents of the farm in the village of Troitsky in the Petrovsky municipal district. Now more than 10 thousand birds share an area of 160 square meters, and this family is constantly growing. These little ones, for example, are only a few hours old.
“Is this like a kindergarten? - Yes, a nursery or something. This is how we move them. And this is how we keep them. The temperature is maintained automatically, there is an automatic waterer inside.”
The so-called brooders – the same nurseries for birds, a modern incubator and seven thousand young quails of Estonian and Japanese breeds were purchased by the farmer this spring. All this would have been impossible without the grant support that Mukhitdin Bobokulov received within the framework of the state program "Agrostartup". He was allocated three million rubles for the development of the farm.
