In 2022, the head of one of the peasant farms of the Pichaevsky district, Said Musayev, became a participant in the Agrostartup program. The grant received for growing potatoes became a launch pad for the aspiring farmer. As reported by the online publication Pichaevsky Vestnik , the farm currently grows four types of vegetables - potatoes, zucchini, pumpkin and red beets.

The farm planted zucchini on an area of ​​4.5 hectares. The farmer grows only one variety, "Aral". It is the one that meets the requirements of customers engaged in vegetable processing. In July alone, more car owner database than 100 tons of zucchini were harvested from the fields of the agricultural enterprise. A good harvest was achieved thanks to drip irrigation, soil care and timely pest control.

"The zucchini that remain in the beds continue to ripen in the field, we will harvest them later. Over time, they gain more nutrients, acquire the necessary qualities, thanks to which they are ideal for making zucchini caviar," Said Musayev said.

In addition to zucchini and potatoes, this year the farmer's fields were planted with pumpkins on 0.5 hectares and red beets on 0.3 hectares. The farm is in no hurry to increase the range of products grown, focusing not on the number of types of vegetables, but on the quality of care for what is already familiar.
