Below are several ways to post to Instagram from a PC or Mac. We'll also explain how to post content with Hootsuite, regardless of the operating system you're using.

Method 1: Post to Instagram from a computer with Hootsuite
Here's how to post to Instagram from a PC or Mac with Hootsuite:

Log in to your Hootsuite dashboard. If you don't have an account, you can create one here for free .
In your dashboard, click the green New Post button at the top of the screen.
A New Post window will appear. Under Post to , select the Instagram account you austria phone number data want to publish your content to. If you haven't added an account yet, you can do so by clicking +Add social media account in the box and following the instructions.
Upload the image, video, and/or carousel (multiple images and videos) you want to post on Instagram to the Media section . Enhance your image and/or video with the Photo Editor .
Then add a caption in the Contents box , along with any hashtags you want to use. You can also add a location further down.
Once you've created your post, make sure it's free of errors. Then click the Publish Now button at the bottom of the screen. You can also choose Schedule for Later if you'd prefer to publish it later.

Method 2: Post to Instagram from PC or Mac
Since October 2021, all Instagram users can create and post content to their feed from the browser version of the app.

Here is the (very simple) procedure to follow to publish on Instagram from a computer (PC or Mac):

Go to instagram.com and log in to your account.
Click the plus symbol (+) in the top right corner of the screen (the same button you would use to create a post in the mobile app). The Create New Post pop-up window appears.
Drag photos or videos into the pop-up window or click Select from Computer to browse and select files on your PC or Mac. If you want to create a carousel, you can select up to 10 files.
Click the frame icon in the bottom left corner of the pop-up window to change the dimensions of your image or video. You can also use the zoom feature (magnifying glass icon in the bottom left corner) and drag your file to change the frame. When you're finished, click Next in the top right corner.
Edit your image however you like. You can select one of the 12 preset effects in the Filters tab or go to the Adjustments tab to manually adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and fade. Click Next .
Write your caption. Click the emoji icon to search and select emojis. You can also enter a location in the Add Location bar , turn off comments in Advanced Settings , and add alt text in the Accessibility section .
Click Share .

Method 3: Post to Instagram from a computer with Creator Studio
If Instagram is your favorite social network and you're not particularly keen on consolidating all your social networks into one dashboard, Creator Studio may be of interest to you.

Note: Using Creator Studio allows you to publish and schedule all kinds of posts other than Instagram Stories.

Post to Instagram with Creator Studio:

Make sure you're logged into Instagram in Creator Studio .
Go to the Instagram section.
Click Create Post .
Click on Instagram Feed .
If you have multiple Instagram accounts, choose the one you want to post your content to.
