In 2022, blindmate received support from angel investors. Blindmate grew to include two more employees around the four-person founding team. Winning the Munich Radio Gong start-up competition in spring 2022 gave blindmate a further boost and, among other things, enabled it to reach its current milestone.

What's next for blindmate? "The next goal is a quarter of a million. One thing is certain: "The more users we have, the more matches there are for linkedin database everyone," says Reichl. And Andreas Lindner, who looks after the blindmate community, among other things, adds: "Every time we hear from users that they found each other thanks to blindmate, we know that we are on the right track."
