In 2024, it is certainly not news that a large part of the content visible online is created through or with the help of generative artificial intelligence . The Capterra study “GenAI for Social Content 2024” goes in this direction: according to the study, 4 out of 10 Italians who deal with content in their work say that at least 50% of what is published on the social media of the company they work for is created by generative AI systems.*
Given the continuous use of this technology, Capterra wanted to analyze how companies use it when creating content for social media, examining possible actions to use it in the right way and how to avoid possible risks. To do so, 1,680 employees were interviewed globally from companies that use generative AI to create social content for their company at least once a month, including 102 in Italy.
