When a fire brings generations together

Post by asimj1 »

" No, you just see a ' Füür' and the only protagonists are the border collie Maïly and the tiger cat Oona. Yes, slow TV; fits in with the current retro trend like records or instant cameras," I explained. The older generation of my family looked at me as if I was definitely overworked when I suggested watching the harmonious fire on SRF 2. On Christmas Eve, mind you.

Füür1

The fire crackled for two hours. It was a cozy hong kong rcs data setting, with a fireplace in the middle, a retro radio to the left, the obligatory Christmas tree with lots of presents underneath it to the right, and a table set on the right edge of the picture. The ham on it was huge and my eyes kept jumping back to it as if by magic. Not surprisingly, by 6 p.m. I was hungry. But shutting it down made me take a closer look: the proportions in this corner were wrong: the wine carafe on the table was much smaller than the ham and the wine bottle next to it. It was obviously a poster, a complete "rip-off." But normally I wouldn't look so closely in my free time.

Whether SRF wanted to counter the trend of increasingly fast and choppy cuts in films and series with this programme or whether it had to cut costs: I don't care. Because: It worked. The slow-paced TV without any commentary made me slow down a few gears on December 24th.
