Conversion How people buy and improve the buying process, simplify it and make it enjoyable. After the purchase, the person is usually entered into the "base": in the CRM.
Retention What a customer does, how often, and for how long determines their customer lifetime value (CLV). Retention analytics also shows how well CLV-boosting initiatives are working (e.g. email marketing, retargeting, promotions, etc.). This is also where we calculate the ultimate internet marketing metric. Remember, this is CRV — customer referral value.
