How do children search online?
It's not just adults who use the Internet; many children also use search engines and websites. There are children's search engines to ensure that children don't see content that is actually intended for their age. However, these are rarely used .

More than half search with Google
According to a study by the German Youth Institute (DJI), only 6 percent of 6 to 13 year olds use children's search engines such as FragFinn , Helles Köpfchen or Blinde Kuh . More than half ( 53 percent ) research australia phone data with Google , Bing and other general search engines . They usually enter very short search queries there, 60 percent of the entries consist of just one word. They usually click on a result on the first page. Spelling mistakes were identified as the biggest obstacle to a successful search .

So much for just homework
? And what do children search for the most? Even if search term statistics can only provide very limited information, the favorites identified in the study - "game", "dog" and "sex" - at least indicate how essential it is to select age-appropriate content via children's search engines in order to protect children from inappropriate websites. Because it goes without saying that at least in the third example, pages will appear on Google & Co. that are not made for 6 to 13 year olds.
