New editor for custom form links

Post by asimj1 »

Improved web forms
In SeaTable 3.3 we switched the form editor to the block design. This made it possible to arrange fields in any order. We also introduced the static elements annotations and separator lines. There were actually other improvements in development, but they didn't make it into the Christmas release. We're making up for that now!

The SeaTable 3.4 form editor offers the south korea rcs data option of defining a display name for each form element, which is then displayed in the web form instead of the column name. This makes it possible to name the columns in the table independently of the web form: The column names can be short and concise, while the names of the form fields can be a bit more verbose in the interests of user-friendliness. This gives you even more freedom when designing your web forms.

SeaTable 3.4 -
Two improvements affect SeaTable's ability to pre-fill web forms using URL parameters. This feature has been around for some time, but it lacked a user-friendly way to create and manage custom form links and the option to protect a pre-filled value from being changed by the form user. We have addressed and resolved both of these issues in SeaTable 3.4.
