The definition of the word indecision is: an emotional state of distress, in which a person is unable to choose between the options available to them. In other words, if your customer is undecided, it is up to you, the salesperson, to reinforce that their choice is positive.

If the salesperson has taken the correct approach, identified what the customer needs and shown the product's features, making the cost-benefit ratio, there will hardly be any objections to the product or service.

2. Listen to what your customer has to say
The salesperson needs to know how to talk less and listen more. It is by listening that opportunities appear.

Learn from this example: Matthew wants to trade in his car and went to a used car dealership to research more about the car he wants to buy. The salesman approached him and Matthew said that he would like a sports car, but he was unsure about which one to choose.

As they talk, Matthew mentions that he has two children and that his wife plans to have another one next year. The salesman, not paying attention to the details, continues showing Matthew the sports cars he wants to buy. After an hour of demonstrations, Matthew asks the salesman for a card and never returns to the store. A few days later, the salesman sees Matthew with his new minivan.
