What I did next was check if he had his personal email address via his LinkedIn profile. Some people choose to share that information and LaGrowthMachine automatically looks for it using the “Has personal email” condition.

If I don't have it: I immediately send a DM. I don't mean to be pushy. Right after the voice, I send a message: "And if you prefer to exchange by email...", and then I share my email address.
Example

Maybe the person isn't actually on LinkedIn. Maybe they're using it because they're a marketer, just for automation purposes, and they don't want to initiate the exchange through LinkedIn.

They will then write to me using their personal email address, and that will give us both another channel if they prefer.

If I do: Since I have their personal email and can contact them directly, I decide to wait 4 days, giving them enough time to respond. After that, I will contact them using my professional email.
Expert advice
These two messages are actually aimed at opening another channel. In the first scenario, I don't vp financial email list have an email address, but I offer mine. This way, if they are interested, they can contact me. And on the other hand, when I have their personal email address, I change the channel.

And of course, you start with the classic multi-channel approach: 'I've written you some messages on LinkedIn…'. Since I still want them to see my messages on LinkedIn:

I highlight what has been said there.
I have my Voice Message, which is a great added value in hiring.
And so on…
Also, via email, I can afford to be a little more structured. So I use bullet points and ask the candidate one last time if he or she is interested in the exchange.
