Versatile Features for Instagram Stories

Already during the creation of the story, Instagram offers useful tools to shape the post according to your needs. The following functions are available in story mode:
Boomerang: A recording feature that plays your Instagram story forward and backward.
Layout: Allows you to create collages of selected photos in a story.
Multi-capture: With this feature you can take several photos (up to eight) in a physicians email database row and select the best one or simply upload them all as a series of photos.
Reel: With Reels you can create several short videos (maximum length 60 seconds) one after the other, which you then publish as a complete video in the story. The advantage is that the different videos, including the music, also appear as a single video.
Hands-free: If you don't want to hold the shutter button all the time when creating a video, use the “Hands-free” feature.
Filter: The filter feature automatically adds the selected filters, effects or animations to the faces in the video or photo.
Level: If you want your photo or video to be straight, the “Level” feature inserts auxiliary lines that indicate straightness.
Go Live: Live broadcasts provide a special closeness and greater interaction with followers. The live feature can be found in story mode by swiping left on the bottom menu bar. A stream can last a maximum of one hour and also offers comment and reaction options for followers.

The available filters are located directly to the right of the shutter button. Around 25 filters are listed here. More can be found using the search function at the end of the filter bar and added to the displayed filters using the bookmarks.
Insert and label text
You can insert text into a photo or video story or make a text post. Text is inserted by tapping “ Aa ” at the top after creating it. If you want to create a text post directly, select “Aa” from the left menu in Story mode. Tap the screen to type. If you want to edit the text, change the font or background, or add effects, select the corresponding icon in the top left menu bar or the three-dot icon for more options.
GIFs and stickers
GIFs and stickers are not just handy tools to decorate and liven up a story. With your own GIFs, you can generate visibility for your own brand. You can find pre-selected GIFs and stickers by tapping the stickers button at the top after creating or uploading your story. The size and position can be adjusted as you wish. If you want to create your own GIFs, you can upload them to giphy.com and insert them via Instagram.

If you want to add music to a story, tap the sticker symbol and the “ Music ” button after creating or uploading it. A pre-selected music list will now be displayed or a search function will be offered.
Questions and surveys
If you want to increase your followers' engagement, use questions and polls. Tap the sticker icon to embed a question or poll directly into your story. Followers simply tap the embedded sticker to interact. Answered questions and polls can be seen by only you and can even be shared anonymously.
Hashtags and tagged people
Another way to generate more visibility and engagement is to integrate hashtags or tag people in stories . Hashtags are particularly suitable for building a community and increasing reach through custom or branded hashtags. In this way, you can not only increase your network of like-minded people and partners, but also your marketing strategy and brand awareness.
