What is a membership site?

I like to call subscription sites by their English meaning: membership site (hereinafter MS in this article) since the word (and very correct) subscription does not sound so succulent, and saying membership site does not seem very attractive to me.
A MS is a website in which you or another person generates high australia phone number list and very interesting content, little by little, which you make available to a series of members , who pay you periodically to continue having access to said content.
This means that if you like to write about nutrition (for example), you can have a blog in which you have free articles and articles that only users who pay you periodically will see.
Ahead of what you may think, I want you to keep in mind that it is possible to configure the plugin (we will see how) to deliver content in dribs and drabs. In this way, you avoid a user paying you once, downloading everything, and canceling their subscription.

Membership Levels
Personally, I like sites where you are either subscribed or not subscribed. There are sites that have multiple membership levels (bronze, silver, gold, etc.); if your site needs multiple membership levels for whatever reason, this is where you can create them.

Level information
Here you basically have to indicate information about the level you are creating. You can detail everything from the name and description to the confirmation message that will appear to the user when signing up for your membership level.

Billing Details
This is the section where you can indicate how you want the recurring payment to be (frequency and amount). You can even add a trial period (which I always recommend should be a little cheaper, not free…) and add an initial payment during registration, if you consider it.

Other Options
In these options you can deactivate this level (if for any reason you do not want them to be able to continue registering under this level), or add an expiration to the subscription (for future and current subscriptions).

Content Options
This is where you choose what content users who sign up for this particular level have access to. You can select regular post categories, pages, as well as custom post types .

Famous examples of membership sites
You may have already thought of some MS examples. Keep in mind that it doesn't always have to be blog- type written content .
For example, content can be something like Netflix (for multimedia content), Spotify (for music), any Internet service provider, the monthly self-employed fee, private health insurance, and even an example that I found very funny: you pay monthly and they send you a box of new underwear once or twice a month.
