Luckily for English learners, there are thousands of films to practice the language. So many that sometimes we have a hard time choosing just one, right? In this blog we have already recommended some fantastic films to learn English , but if in addition to English you want to learn something more about British culture and history, don't lose sight of this list of films, perhaps not as well-known, but with a lot of juice.


Sense and Sensibility (Ang Lee, 1995)
One of the best Jane Austen film adaptations. Gosford Park (Robert Altman, 2001)

In true Agatha Christie style, a murder occurs while a group of rich people are hunting in a country house. But this is only the main theme, because the film tries to reflect the workings of the British class system at the time.
