Agile methodologies for SMEs: how to improve your company's productivity

We have had to live in a time in which a large percentage of what surrounds us has to do with technology , our mobile phones, our computers, even the way we watch TV is done online , we see how this technology evolves and, knowing how a development team works internally, the only way for it to be productive is through agile methodologies , this type of methodology allows us to improve productivity , create connection in the team, have visibility and a spectacular capacity for reaction , so why not implement this methodology in companies?

It has already been implemented in thousands of companies, not even since this century, TOYOTA already used something similar to the agile methodology in its automobile production systems last century!

From a productivity perspective, how can this methodology help you achieve updated diabetes mailing list your marketing goals sooner and better? How many times have your campaigns or suppliers not met delivery times? When do you realize that your goals are not being met? Are the KPIs you use short-term?

If you want to improve productivity you have to:

Create a team where communication flows
Follow a coherent and continuous work methodology
Coordinate without ordering
Plan for the short term and allow yourself to pivot if something doesn't work out the way you expected.
And how do you do it through an agile methodology?
Generate sprints that allow you to see results and don't wait to have the final result after months (a sprint is a time between 1 and 3 weeks ideally, to which a set of tasks are assigned that offer visibility on the evolution of a project-objective). Daily follow-up is carried out with all project participants and the project leader (scrum master because in this case we use scrum), what was achieved and what was not is put on the table ( solution is sought ), weekly meeting on project status and end of sprint meeting.

So as not to go crazy , let's look at an example . Imagine a marketing department whose objective is to generate leads to incorporate into the sales pipeline . There are two ways to do this:

1. Traditional method

The marketing director instructs the design department to create creatives, landing pages, etc., the development department to generate the code necessary to record the data from the forms in the CRM , and the media department to plan the campaign. They all have a period of 15 days to begin the campaign.

Result : the design team creates a set of banners and landing pages that, after 20 revisions , are delivered in 20 days , while the development team tells us that development is simple but that without the landing pages there was no point in starting development, so they add 5 more days to the delivery and when the media department goes through the list of sites, the creatives don't fit in 50% of them... Don't tell me that hasn't happened to you.

2. Agile methodology

A 2-week sprint is created with the tasks to be performed: 300x250 banner, big banner, skin, landing page, thank you page, thank you email, development of the landing page, recording in CRM, creation of segmentation in the CRM, list of media.

Result : On day 1, at the meeting, he says that he cannot start without the landing pages, so design starts with that part, media has seen which are the creatives and looks for suppliers that can serve them... each one has taken on a task, has taken responsibility for it and has shared the necessary information with the others; and on day 15, everything is delivered on time .
