AI Interest - Chart
As we can see, it was only at the end of November 2022 that people around the world began to besiege and become interested in the topic of AI en masse, and consequently - use it. Exactly, the use of artificial intelligence, the crux of today's post. AI is such a universal tool (yes, let's not be afraid to call it just a tool) that anyone can use it for practically any topic or problem. Starting from a recipe for broth, through help in solving logical tasks, to programming and managing huge databases, AI can help us in many areas, and in some cases literally "transfer" us. I mean certain social groups that have arisen due to (or thanks to) artificial intelligence, such as Citizen Developers, i.e. people who do not have official programming education, and yet, thanks to AI, create full-fledged mobile applications or websites from scratch. This usually does not come from a desire to earn money as a programmer, but from noticing and personally experiencing a certain problem that they want to solve. The goal of Citizen Developers is not pure profit, but to make life easier for themselves and others in a similar situation. Another social group that has grown significantly thanks to artificial intelligence are the so-called One-Person-Unicorns. These are largely entrepreneurs who independently create and run companies worth over $1 billion. This social group is a good combination of the ability to use artificial intelligence, being creative, and the desire/need to start their own start-up and. One-Person-Unicorn in the context of AI aims to spread the idea that one person can independently run influential and innovative AI projects.
But back to the topic, who is AI for ? In short - for you, especially if you master at least the basics of its use. If you are reading this post, you are certainly interested in the topic of the visual identification of your brand, which is so important today, and the practical use of artificial intelligence, so in this post we will present the aspects in which AI can help you, regardless of whether you are just thinking about starting your own company, have been running it successfully for X years or are planning rebranding.
Before we move on to the use of AI in creating visual identification, I would like to briefly recall what a Visual Identification System is. These are all the visual points of contact between your potential customer and your brand, such as:
Logo
Brand Typography
Corporate colors
Company letterhead
Website
Dress Code
The aesthetics of your office
and many, many more. For a more in-depth description of the visual identification system, please see one of our previous posts: Visual Identification System - what is it and why is it worth taking care of ?
So let's start from the basics
You are just planning your business - AI will help you with that
Artificial intelligence is developing day by day and it is already at a sufficient level to help you plan your business. With tools like ChatGPT (I suggest at least GPT4 model) you will be able to more easily:
do research on the competition and analyze their strengths and weaknesses
plan the entire process of creating your brand from scratch.
develop a business model for your brand,
and many, many more, below is an example GPT4 response to a very simple belarus telemarketing data query. Of course, as we expand our queries and detail them, we will be able to delve into the deeper layers of our planned undertaking.

Logo is the face of your brand - get inspired with AI
Often a logo seems to be the easiest element of designing your brand, but when it comes down to it, we sit with a blank page and don't know where to start. This is where artificial intelligence (or maybe artificial creativity?) comes to our aid.
Ideation phase:
As we know, everything starts with an idea, so using the same method I wrote about in the point about company planning, we can get very interesting insights about the possible appearance of our new logo. Below I present you GPT tips for my imaginary brand producing phone cases. Pay attention to the comprehensive view of AI - it will advise you from the visual, conceptual and practical side of the logo in the future.
Idealization Phase
Creation phase:
Once we have a direction and an idea for our logo, it's time to design. In this matter, it is worth noting right away that GPT, Dall-e or Midjourney will not produce a full-fledged logotype for us. A brand logo should be primarily a vector graphic, and the above AI graphic generators create raster graphics. That is why I strongly recommend using these tools more for inspiration than for complete logo creation, because they can often positively surprise us in terms of creativity.
Example of inspiration received from Dall-e:
Creation phase
Of course, this logo does not meet my expectations, so let's not be afraid to work on our prompts and refine the final effect.
Creation phase - logo
Of course it's still not the final effect I'd be happy with, but you get the idea

After achieving a satisfactory appearance of our new logo, it is necessary to check whether its structure and appearance can be reproduced in vector format and whether our new sign will meet the requirements of a properly prepared logo , such as scalability. Therefore, sooner or later, strictly graphic work is inevitable.
Before we commission a recreation of our vision as a logo, it is worth conducting a test on a larger group. Just because we see our case on the sign does not mean that everyone sees the case and not a brick.
In my case, I used GPT and Dall-e, but I think that using Bing / Copilot we will also achieve a satisfactory result, which will certainly be different, because these software use different models and systems for generating images and responses.
There are also AI tools that can generate a logo or graphic for us in vector form, such, so if we want to minimize the necessary graphic work related to the logo, it is worth trying these types of tools.
Do you already have your dream logo? It's time for Key Visual with AI
Key Visual, or in free translation, the key of visual identification is, in short, the visual character of your graphic materials and the style of communication with your clients. As in the case of a logo or any other graphic design, we should not start directly with creation, but with a concept and plan, so let's first use AI to generate ideas for our key visual:
I will stick with GPT as it gives more satisfactory results in my case, but it is always worth testing different software.
Visual Identification Key
Let's say I'm happy with 1 suggestion, so I can use any AI tool to generate graphics. This time I'll use MidJourney . I can interpret the idea I like and come up with a Midjourney prompt based on it, but since we're focused on using AI - we'll let AI do it for us:
Creating Prompts for MidJourney
The prompt generated by GPT is not particularly extensive, although after introducing it to Midjourney we got the following effect:
Chat GPT4 prompt results at MidJourney
Now all we need to do is refine our prompt using the commands and settings of the generated images - we wrote more about this in our post: MidJourney - more than just an AI image generator .
Let's remember that these are still concepts and inspirations , sooner or later they will have to be refined and adapted to the brand.
