Looking back at 2020 | The convenience of online and the value of offline experiences
Merry Christmas🎄 This is Matsuoka, in charge of sales marketing.

Time flies and there's only about a week left until 2020 is over.

This year has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and I imagine it has been a year of change for everyone.

Today, I would like to look back on some of the changes that have had the biggest impact.

Changing ways of working
The new coronavirus was confirmed in China in January 2020, and in February the Japanese government called on companies to promote remote work overseas chinese in canada data and staggered work hours.

As a result, many companies have begun using online remote work, and our company has also been working remotely as a general rule from mid-February until the present.

With the advent of remote working, online meetings have become the norm for many companies, replacing the face-to-face meetings that were previously held up until now. This has been a major change for business people.

We also often hear about online business card exchanges and online sales tools.

As I continued working remotely, I began to see the good and bad points of remote work.

・Good points (excerpt): You can work at your own pace
・Bad points (excerpt): The quantity and quality of communication decreases

Regarding the decline in the quantity and quality of communication, our company is taking the following measures to communicate during remote work. (Ongoing)

In the department I work in, we also have a chat session with random members once a week.

Under the basic rule of not talking about work, the group chats about a wide variety of topics, including recommended recent purchases, games they're hooked on, and what they're looking for in their new home.

By the way, I heard that they created a system to automatically select random members and set the schedule. (Nice!)

In addition, the company is also working on preparing for the post-COVID-19 work style.

In addition, many events such as seminars and exhibitions that have previously been held offline were held online this year.
