Sandboxing is a security technique that allows a program to be executed in a closed and limited space . In other words, this technique assigns processes a virtual space that can be controlled, monitored and automated.

Why does it protect us? When we run a program in spain telegram data a delimited virtual space, we are not giving the application access to the rest of the sensitive resources on the computer. In this way, it prevents threats such as ransomware or other malware from putting the security and continuity of our business at risk.

If malicious intent is detected after execution in this "sandbox", execution in the real environment would be automatically blocked and thus system resources would not be compromised, since it is isolated.

This method is a preventive security measure . Instead of following the traditional method of many antivirus programs that look for similarities with hundreds of samples of other malware, it runs them in a test environment capable of interpreting whether it is a reliable program or not. In this way, it ensures the protection of the system against threats that are still unknown or mutations of some already widespread malware that are not yet recognized by antivirus programs.
