#1: How to Use Reels for App Promotion Ads

Starting in June 2023, Ads Manager has more options than ever to edit and optimize Reels ads. Highlights include new commercial music features, new Instagram Reels ad placements, and support for Reels ads in more campaign types.

Since you can also use Meta’s AI-powered Advantage+ Creative suite to optimize Reels ads, you have plenty of opportunities to create high-performing ads within these short-form video feeds on Facebook and laos b2b leads Instagram. Below, we’ll take a look at all the new features for Reels ads, as well as a workflow for editing and optimizing these creatives so you can reach people who are scrolling through the Reels tab.

Whether you want your target audience to download your app or you want to promote in-app purchases, these ad objectives now support Reels. To create Reels ads for your app, open Ads Manager and start a new campaign with the app promotion objective.

To take full advantage of Meta’s AI-powered campaign settings, select Advantage+ App Campaigns as the type. If you want more control over the process, select App Ads to set up your campaign manually. In this example, we'll cover an Advantage+ app campaign.

When you select the AI-powered campaign option, you’ll find that most of the settings are already set. In some cases, you won't see the option to select settings at all.

For example, you can't manually select placements because this campaign type automatically applies Advantage+ placements. You can't apply audience targeting settings to this campaign type, except for location and language.
