Visual Calculations Update (Preview)

If you want to continue using natural language to create DAX formulas, you can do so via Microsoft Fabric Copilot in the DAX query view. This tool will help you write DAX queries, including specific measures that can be added to your model.
Quick Measures will continue to allow you to select calculations from a list and create measures using drag-and-drop templates, automatically generating the DAX formula when you click “Add.” These measures can be viewed and modified in the DAX formula bar. The public preview of Quick Measures suggestions introduced a Quick Query panel, allowing you to drag and drop from the Data panel instead of using a dialog box. Quick Measures will remain in the Quick Measures panel, but the dialog box experience will no longer be available.
Starting in October 2024, tenant settings poland telegram data for this feature will also be deprecated. Users with older versions of Power BI Desktop and the public preview switch enabled will see the feature disabled.

It is now possible to use visual calculations in combination charts, such as line and clustered column charts, in a similar way to other chart types. For example, you can apply a visual calculation that shows a three-quarter moving average.
