3 Key Parameters of a Business Plan
There are three main parameters that must be reflected in the plan, taking into account the business idea you have chosen:
The level of development at the current point in time.
Goal, expected result.

Current level indicators will help you see weak points in your business (both in terms of resources and knowledge). You will assess what finances, skills, premises, useful connections you have, where you lack something, etc.
Without this, problems cannot be avoided, and in the near future. For example, you have a coffee shop. You installed an excellent, new coffee machine in it, on which you can make espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte. However, customers often drop in and do not place an order. And in general, they do not come back.
The reason is very simple: many people don't want just cappuccino, they like iced latte, cappuccino with cinnamon, etc. And it turns out that you didn't even imagine how long the problem has existed, but it takes a lot of time.
