Starting your own business in Brazil is already no easy feat, let alone standing out among the many ideas that constantly emerge. This is a particularly challenging scenario for women, who still need flexible hours to handle the many responsibilities that are often unevenly assigned to them.

in Brazil, there are nearly 30 million female entrepreneurs, according to a survey by the Rede Mulher Empreendedora (Women's Entrepreneur Network). Half of them started their own companies out of necessity, according to the study, and 72% are fully or partially financially independent.

"Making a dream come true requires practicing negotiation and strategy skills, as well as determination and persistence to follow through. Acquiring knowledge and having inspirational role models also help along the shop way, because they show that it's possible to achieve our dreams," says Bruna Havresko, CEO and founder of Modab , a women's fashion e-commerce site created by a woman for all women.

To inspire and build female leadership and entrepreneurship, Bruna chose three essential films for those looking to embark on a successful career. Check them out:

Joy: the name of success

The film, starring Jennifer Lawrence, tells the true story of entrepreneur Joy Mangano. A creative person since childhood, Joy invented the "miracle mop" and revolutionized the household cleaning market in the 1990s. The script depicts the entire product creation process, from the conception of the idea, when she was still living with her son in her parents' basement, to the moment she secured investment and distributors interested in her business, becoming a successful businesswoman. The story is undoubtedly a source of inspiration for female entrepreneurs to have confidence in their ideas and persistence in business.
