There is something to be gained here, that much is clear. Where there are markets, there is potential. More and more often you see a subtle or not so subtle, commercial tweet passing by in your timeline. However, many organizations think too lightly about their participation in the conversation. Randomly registering, occasionally shouting something and just waiting to see how the objectives are achieved. That is of course not how it works. How popular will you become if you shout 3 sentences in a bar once a month and then leave again?

And embed it well in the organization: put it on the agenda! Advice number 1 is in any case: get yourself properly informed about the possibilities. Then you've made a start!
