What is the difference between ftp, ssh and sftp and what is rdp used for? In this article we will look at the basic principles of working with these protocols.

What is FTP?
The FTP file transfer protocol is designed to egypt whatsapp data data exchange between your PC and the server. This process is conditionally similar to the one when a user copies information from one folder to another. With the help of ftp, you get access to the disk space allocated by the hoster.

Features available with FTP:

downloading files from an FTP server,
uploading websites to hosting,
hosting files on different types of FTP servers,
viewing files.

This protocol is specially designed for exchanging data and commands with a remote computer. In order to be able to use FTP on your PC, there are special programs - FTP clients. In fact, they differ only in the graphical shell and ease of use, and the functions are the same.

FTP server can be installed on any PC with any OS: Windows, Unix, MAC and others.

In other words, it is safe to say that an FTP server is a good replacement for portable storage devices. If you need to transfer data to another computer, you can not only use flash drives, but also do it in a completely different way: place the information on an FTP server, and then simply download it from another PC. This method is more convenient and beneficial for Internet users.
