“At Adecco I feel that they care about me personally and professionally”

Andrés Fernández, originally from Valladolid, worked all his life in the hospitality industry in Madrid until he moved to Salamanca at the age of 60, separated and with a new partner. His professional career in this city began with Adecco and Graciela Martín, Adecco Service Consultant. Today our colleague María Gómez, HR Manager of Adecco Contigo, talks to him about his experience working with our company.

Maria: Andrés, tell us about the first impression Adecco made on you.

Andrés: I was spontaneously handing out resumes and I got into Adecco. They helped me

Graciela asked me, “Are you from Valladolid?” And she rcs data asia asking me about my experience, about the tasks I had performed in each position, my concerns and my characteristics. She told me that they worked with different companies in the hospitality sector and she spoke to me about the type of waiters they were looking for and the contracts they made.

Maria: What was the key to deciding to start working with us?

Andrés: You were the first ones to call me. In the four years I have been in Salamanca, I have only been called by a couple of other companies and I have not heard from them again. Right now I want to continue with Adecco because of the personal treatment they offer me and because they are concerned about finding me work whenever possible.

Maria: During this time that you have been working with Adecco, how have you felt?

Andrés: At Adecco I feel that they care about me personally and professionally, they always count on me and treat me with the utmost respect, education and affection. And if there has ever been a problem, we have sat down to discuss it in a transparent manner and it has been resolved quickly.

Maria: In your experience, what do we do better at Adecco than at other HR companies?

Andrés: I haven't worked for others, but I have had telephone contact with some and it hasn't been pleasant. They didn't even get back in touch with me when I sent them my CV.

Maria: Professionally, where would you like to see yourself in the future?

Andrés: I want to continue working in the hospitality industry until I retire, either as an extra or with a contract.
