QLIK ACADEMIC PROGRAM: BOOSTING KNOWLEDGE AND RESOURCES

Post by najmulislam77 »

The QLIK Academic Program meets professional and personal needs, providing students and faculty with the essential resources to succeed in the world of data analysis. Both can take advantage of the curriculum, courses, and the most up-to-date platform.

On this occasion, we spoke with Sarah Miller, Project Manager at Qlik, who leads the program initiative at a global level, so she could share her experience with us.

When asked about the participation of the program in our region, Sarah tells us that the numbers change every day but we can say that more than 280 universities in South America participate in it and more than 975 Latin students are linked to the Academic Program throughout our region.

When we asked him which sections were most popular portugal phone number lead with universities and students, he told us that what they use most is the Qlik SaaS platform, Qlik Sense Business, and the training and qualification exams available through the Qlik Learning Portal.

Already browsing through the Academic Program, we asked Sarah which sections were the best for her, or those where applicants could get the most out of it. She replied: The entire program is a treasure!

The most popular resources are the software and the subscription to the Qlik Learning Portal which includes product and training information and literature. Our instructors and students highly value the qualifying exams we give them because they give them the opportunity to validate their knowledge of Qlik Sense, Data Analytics and Data Literacy. The certificate issued upon passing is useful for their CVs.

Our recommendation to universities

What recommendations do we propose to universities?

Educators often recommend multiple Analytics software to students because companies generally use more than one. To this end, we suggest educators introduce the program into their classes to encourage students to apply for software tools on their own or take advantage of training. Alternatively, they can incorporate Qlik into their classes using our Data Analytics CV as a guide. Additionally, if they are not interested in teaching students how to use the product but want to focus on Data Literacy and Analytics, it is recommended that they encourage their students to sign up for a year of free Data Literacy training or apply for Data Literacy or Data Analytics certifications.

Here we share the link to the program in case you want to apply as both teachers and students, and here is the recording of the last webinar we did about the program.
