We spoke with the Alós brothers, Marc and Sergi, who run caganers.com, one of the most visited shops in Barcelona by tourists and which shows that tradition can be reinvented to be more current than ever.
It is undoubtedly one of the quintessential Christmas images. The fact that it is scatological does not prevent us from continuing to love it year after year. Because, who doesn't have or hasn't had a caganer in their house?

The Alós brothers, Marc and Sergi, have decided to continue the family honduras phone number list by updating it so that the legendary figurines are perfectly up-to-date and recognizable. In this way, when we pass by the window of any of their stores we can recognize Trump, Harry Potter or Rosalía herself.

We spoke to them to find out how one of the most successful Christmas icons is run and what their goals are for the new year.

As we speak, there is surely a group of people taking photos with the giant caganer at the entrance to your stores .
(Laughs) It's unique. Finding a store with more than 600 references of public and non-public figures around us who are shitting, well, it's different, of course. They take such a high level of photos... And they smile when they take them. That's what we do, give away smiles.

Many of the comments we get are from people from out of town who write us an email telling us how much fun they had when they handed out the caganer . When we brought out your caganers at dinner, everyone laughed and we had a great time. And many times even conversations arise around it… it's much better than if they gave you a shirt. Then you say thank you very much, that's great, and that's it.
