The foreman in question performs tasks in the company depending on the level of experience and the grading system of payment. There are several levels:

Junior – a junior specialist with minimal work experience, works on simple tasks with a clear plan. He prepares data for research, conducts simple analyses, maintains the database, monitors the product.

Middle – easily copes with typical tasks, conducts data analysis, develops and implements measures to improve the product. He is well versed in the tools, but does not have all the skills.

Senior – analyzes data, develops teacher data package and implements product improvement strategies. He can take on the development of a full-fledged project. He knows the market very well and has mastered almost all analysis tools.

Lead – develops strategies and manages a team of other product analysts. He is responsible for analyzing the product and improving it, planning A/B testing, and ensuring that his team interacts with other groups in the company.

Soft skills of a product analyst
When recruiting employees, employers are not very interested in the specialized education of product analysts and data analysts. Their personal qualities and ability to use special tools are much more important.

Essential soft skills and abilities for working as a product analyst
Analytical thinking. This is one of the most important qualities of these specialists. They must be able to, having received certain information, divide it into parts and establish cause-and-effect relationships between the components. This will allow them to draw the right conclusions.

Critical thinking. This is the ability to see what is happening from the outside, the ability to notice inaccuracies in the customer's assessment of metrics in time. If this moment is missed, then all the work of the team of analysts will be meaningless.

Communication and presentation skills . An experienced specialist should be able to unite a team of subordinates, convey to them the necessary task and correctly distribute responsibilities. Experience in communicating with the customer, the ability to understand their requirements and explain the available opportunities will significantly simplify the process of performing the work.

Trainability . The fact that a specialist does not have all possible skills and tools when hired is not a disadvantage. The main thing is that he must understand the principle of work, know its basics and strive to achieve new heights.
