If a few months ago we told you about Arantxa Unda or Enrique Cat because they conquered Forbes with their personal and professional projects, this time it is the turn of Alberto Cabanes, an entrepreneur from La Mancha who has recently been included in 'Forbes Summit 30 under 30', the prestigious list that includes the 30 most promising talents under 30 years of age in Spain .
Cabanes' proposal is special because of its rcs data middle east and intergenerational nature. It is an association called 'Adopt a Grandfather' and, in his own words, "makes our elders feel listened to, accompanied and loved" , thus transmitting values and enriching the intergenerational relationships so necessary in our days. It all began in 2013 when Alberto Cabanes himself met Bernardo Cea, a widowed friend of his grandfather, and decided to 'adopt' him to alleviate his loneliness.
Their experience resulted in a wonderful project that is already present in a dozen Spanish cities, such as Madrid, Pamplona, Pontevedra, Ciudad Real, Seville, Murcia, Jaén, Salamanca, Granada and Valencia. And it has a very long waiting list of more than 3,000 young people who are willing to visit their adoptive grandparents weekly to share time and laughs with them.
