58 percent in favor of strict home office requirement until Corona is over

Among working people, this figure is slightly higher at 62 percent. This is the result of a representative survey by the digital association Bitkom among 1,005 people in Germany aged 16 and over. The survey was conducted from May 10 to 21. According to the survey, 28 percent of working people answered "yes" - and 34 percent "rather yes" - when asked whether they support a strict home office requirement for suitable activities until the pandemic is over. Overall, 53 percent of working people say that they believe their work is basically suitable for working from home . "Many companies have recognized the advantages of home office during the pandemic. In order to further spread home office in Germany, tax incentives could also be set - for employees and for companies. The state should make greater use of its corresponding options.
